Tequila

Tequila is a distilled spirit made from the agave plant. The liquor can only be produced in designated areas of Mexico. Today, it is one of the most popular liquors in the world, though it’s most often consumed in Mexico and the U.S. While tequila is the essential ingredient in margaritas and tequila shots are very popular, there are many other cocktail recipes in which it can be mixed.

Patron Tequila

  • Patrón is the biggest selling ultra-premium tequila in the US.
  • John Paul DeJoria’s other huge success is his line of Paul Mitchell hair care products which he co-founded.
  • Each bottle is hand-labeled and inspected–over 60 hands touch every bottle of Patrón before it leaves the distillery.
  • The brand is one of the few tequilas to still use the traditional stone wheel, called a “tahona,” to crush its agave.

1800 Tequila

1800 is the year the world’s first premium tequila, real tequila, was born. For more than two hundred years, 1800® has never wavered from its original formula and distillation process — producing a 100% agave, quality liquid each and every time.

The bottles that end up on the shelves contain the same quality tequila as every bottle that has left the distillery for centuries.

MILAGRO

It started with two friends who wanted a tequila that bridged two worlds — the deeply rooted integrity of traditional tequila, and the vibrant, creative culture of modern Mexico City.

herradura

Born in 1870, Casa Herradura, located at Hacienda San Jose del Refugio, is the last tequila-producing Hacienda on the planet. Within its ancient walls, we craft and estate-bottle some of the finest tequilas anyone has ever tasted. It is here that we invented the first reposado and extra añejo, forever changing the world of tequila. And it is here, from the small town of Amatitàn in the heart of Mexico’s tequila region, that we continue to set the standard for what’s to come.

SAUZA

There would be no Casa Sauza® if not for the three Dons. Since 1873, each played an instrumental role in the production of the world’s finest tequilas. Today, their spirits live on in each bottle that comes out of Casa Sauza®.

Camarena

Every Camarena bottle tells a story over 250 years in the making, a story that began in 1761 in Arandas, Jalisco Mexico—the heart of artisanal tequila production. Here, the centuries-old bell tolls to this day, signaling celebrations and drawing in the community from miles around. This bell, and what it symbolizes to the people, inspired the shape of the Camarena bottle.

In the center of our bottle, the wolves of Jalisco are hiding in plain sight, just as they did in the most sought-after agave fields. Feared and revered for their cunning and fierceness, these wolves are guardians of the agave and of the people of Arandas. Their loyalty demands unwavering respect and an understanding that when you are good to the wolves, the wolves will be good to you.

This spirit is contained within every bottle of the most award-winning tequila, dedicated to the lands where the agave grows, the bell rings and the wild wolves roam. Their story is etched in every bottle of Camarena tequila and within every bottle, there is a story waiting to be told.

Jose Cuervo

Jose Cuervo has been making tequila for over 250 years with the same experience, craftsmanship, and recipes that have been handed down generation through generation. Scroll down to explore key moments in the brand’s rich history.

In 1758, José Antonio de Cuervo y Valdés was given a writ of land ownership by King Fernand VI to plant agave on his lands for producing tequila.

King Carlos IV issued a royal decree in Spain granting Jose Maria Guadalupe Cuervo y Montana the first license to produce and distribute tequila.
